A couple of powdered emerald damselflies (Lestes Sponsa) have found each other. The male has grabbed the female but the female has not yet completed the 'love wheel' by taking the corresponding grip on the male. Although there were many dragonflies at the location, this was the only couple that seemed to have found each other.

Despite the early hour, the damselflies were alert and relatively dew-free. With a handheld flash, it was possible to get light on the damselfly even when it landed in the shade.

Nu är det bara lite dagg kvar på vingarna som solen behöver värma bort. I övrigt är den pudrade smaragdflicksländan (Lestes Sponsa) redo för en ny dag.
