Once spring arrives, everything happens quickly. Where there was just a blanket of snow and ice a few weeks ago, greenery has now taken over. The shorebirds stops for a few days, eagerly looking for food on their way northward. Here it is a wood sandpiper taking a short break to get an overview of its surroundings.
