During autumn migration many shorebirds stop to feed at the beach in Seby, Öland. Here a dunlin is feeding in the shallow water.
Close encounter with a young red knot on its first migration south. Laying flat on the ground at he waters edge it was possible to get the waders to come within the close focusing distance of the lens.
