Common Greenshank greeting the rising sun at the beach in Salalah, Oman. This indivdual was seen nearly every morning for ten days as it was feeding without taking much notice of the passing people. It was easily recognized due to its deformed bill.
Once you got close to the purple sandpipers, they seem to no longer care about your precence. Sometimes it felt like they were trying to run right over the lens!
