The lesser black-backed gull made a lot of noise and certainly wasn't shy. But it does look like it's trying to peek through its hand in a shy way.
Early morning at Reveln, Torö. The young common terns can fish by themselves but prefer to be fed. Just after sunrise this juvenile got tired of fishing himself and sat down on a rock and whimper until his parents brought him food.
I don't know who started the fight between the common terns, nor do I know who won. But the result was a lot of water thrown into the air!
