When the first rays of the sun reached the surface of the water, the lesser black-backed gull left the pond to take a look around. It must have realized that the pond with its fishes was the best place to look for food because it stayed put throughout the day.
The lesser black-backed gull made a lot of noise and certainly wasn't shy. But it does look like it's trying to peek through its hand in a shy way.
Early morning at Reveln, Torö. The young common terns can fish by themselves but prefer to be fed. Just after sunrise this juvenile got tired of fishing himself and sat down on a rock and whimper until his parents brought him food.
