Dipper in Nyfors

This year's first photo session went to the dippers in Nyfors. Two dippers were in place, one of which had a favorite rock to which it regularly returned. As it was difficult to vary the background, I instead took the opportunity to experiment with long shutter speeds. With 1/15 second, it was still possible to get some razor-sharp images of the bird while the movement in the water became clear.

After spending several hours in the cold water finding the dipper posing on top of the stick, almost in sunlight was a nice change.
