Small but tough
The goldcrest is the smallest bird in Sweden with its barely 9 cm. Despite its small size it winters in large parts of Sweden were it often has to survive a couple of months with biting cold

As the sun sets there is still a flock of goldvrests feeding in the short grass at the southern cape of Öland.
